Azerbaijan has simplified visa procedures for Formula 1

President Ilham Aliyev has signed an order "On simplification of visa procedures for foreigners and stateless persons arriving in the Republic of Azerbaijan in connection with the organization and holding of the 2022 Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix."

The order stipulates that foreigners and stateless persons arriving in Azerbaijan in connection with the 2022 Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix and submitting any of the documents specified in the order can obtain visas at the international airports of Azerbaijan from May 10 to June 15, 2022.

One of these documents is an accreditation card or other document confirming accreditation in accordance with the relevant rules of Formula One Management Limited, the international organizers of Formula 1 races, and the International Automobile Federation. Accreditation confirming accreditation in Baku City Ring card and a document confirming the purchase of a ticket or a ticket to the 2022 Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix are considered the basis for the issuance of a visa.
