Uzbekistan applies tax-free for tourists

The President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, instructed the relevant departments to implement the "tax free" system for foreign tourists from January 1, 2023.

According to TASS, Mirziyoyev's press secretary Sherzod Asadov informed about this. "Despite the fact that three years have passed since the signing of the decision on the introduction of duty free and tax free systems, delays are allowed. These systems should be fully operational from January 1, 2023," the speech reads.
