Tourism opportunities of Azerbaijan are promoted in India

In order to promote Azerbaijan as a tourist destination, a seminar was held in New Delhi, India.

According to information, the main purpose of the seminar, attended by about 50 tourism agents and tour operators, is to demonstrate Azerbaijan's tourism opportunities and increase the awareness of the Indian tourism industry about Azerbaijan.

In the framework of the seminar, detailed presentations and videos dedicated to Azerbaijan tourism were shown, and the potential of our country for organizing leisure tourism and business events was presented. At the end of the seminar, an interactive question-and-answer session was organized, and the participants' questions were answered.

The promotional activities will continue today in Bangalore and on October 28 in Mumbai.

In the January-September period of this year, the number of visitors from India, which is one of the main target tourism markets, to Azerbaijan amounted to 77,379 thousand people, which is 2.15 times more than in the same period last year.
