Rules of travel to Ukraine during the COVID-19 pandemic

Ukrainian citizens and persons with a permanent residence permit to enter the territory of Ukraine must have one of the following documents:

 

 With WHO-approved vaccines for emergency use against COVID-19 (Pfizer / BioNTech, Johnson & Johnson's Janssen, AstraZeneca / Vaxzevria, AstraZeneca / Covishield (Hidistan), AstraZeneca / SKBio (South Korea), SinaVharmacov, Moderna / Spikevax )) a document confirming the completion of a full course of vaccination - can be an international, domestic or foreign vaccination certificate;

 

 Document on the first dose of COVID-19 vaccination course - certificate 063-O issued in accordance with the procedure established by the Ministry of Health.

 

 Ukrainian citizens and those with a permanent residence permit are not required to return to Ukraine with a negative test result.

 All unvaccinated Ukrainian citizens over the age of 18 must download the Vdoma mobile application after crossing the state border. When it is not possible to download the Vdoma mobile application or it is rejected, the person is subject to surveillance.

 After downloading the Vdoma application, the passenger must pass a PCR test or a rapid test for antibodies within 72 hours. In the event of a negative result, the passenger is not required to isolate himself. If no negative test result is obtained within 72 hours after crossing the border, the person must remain in solitary confinement for 10 days at the place indicated during the authorization of the application "Vdoma". If there is a negative result of the PCR test or rapid test for antibodies, self-isolation can be stopped prematurely.

 Unvaccinated Ukrainian citizens who enter the country from Russia or India and spend more than 7 of the last 14 days in these countries must remain in solitary confinement for 14 days and will not be able to take the test in Ukraine to avoid or stop premature isolation.

 Persons under the age of 12 are not required to provide a test certificate, vaccination certificate, or self-isolation.

 Individuals between the ages of 12 and 18 must have one of the above documents, but are free to isolate themselves by downloading the Vdoma application.

 A certificate of testing for antibodies to COVID-19 will not be accepted.

 All foreigners, regardless of their country of origin, are covered by an insurance company registered in Ukraine or a foreign insurance company with a representative office in Ukraine or a contract insurance company with a partner insurance company in Ukraine and covering the costs of treatment, surveillance and supervision against COVID-19. must have a valid insurance policy (certificate) during his stay.

 You must also have one of the following documents:

 

 Vaccines included in the WHO-approved list for emergency use against COVID-19 - Pfizer / BioNTech, Johnson & Johnson's Janssen, AstraZeneca / Vaxevria, AstraZeneca / Covishield (India), AstraZeneca / SKBio (South Korea), Moderna / Spikmax CoronaVac (Sinovac) - a document confirming the completion of a full course of vaccination;

 

 rapid test for SARS-CoV-2 antibodies (RAT, Ag) performed no more than 72 hours before admission;

 

 Certificate of negative PCR test performed no more than 72 hours before admission.

 

 No test or vaccination certificate is required for persons under 12 years of age.

 Foreigners cannot take a PCR test in Ukraine or remain in solitary confinement. In the absence of a test / vaccination certificate and / or insurance policy, foreigners will not be allowed to cross the state border of Ukraine for entry or transit into Ukrainian territory.

 Transfer passengers who do not leave the airport's transit zone and do not cross the Ukrainian border (unless otherwise specified by the country of destination) are not required to provide a certificate of negative PCR test for COVID-19 and an insurance policy.
